  • Public Welfare: SHRS defines public welfare as a social and managerial process, enabling individuals and groups to obtain what they need through problem-solving and teamwork.

  • World Summit on Information Society (WSIS): Participates in the prestigious WSIS in Geneva.
  • Book Publication: Publishes "eContent: Voices from the Ground," a compendium of digital content from 28 countries.
  • Manthan Awards: Develops a framework for Manthan Awards, identifying ICTD best practices in India.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Establishes partnerships with organizations like World Summit Awards, National Institute of Smart Governance (NISG), Intel, and more.
  • Community Initiatives: Launches projects like Community Information Resource Centre (CIRC), Digital Panchayat, and interventions in the community radio sector.
  • Programmatic Verticals: Institutionalizes seven programmatic verticals, including Access & Infrastructure, Governance & Services on Demand, Education & Empowerment, and more.
  • Digital Empowerment: Launches initiatives like eNGO, Chanderiyaan, Mobile for Good Awards, Internet Rights, and Soochna Seva.
