Sustainable Livelihood Training – Pearl Farming
Sustainable Pearl Farming Training Program
Sustainable Pearl Farming Training Program
Safe Hands Rehabilitation Society (SHRS) promotes eco-friendly livelihood opportunities through its Pearl Farming Training Program. This initiative equips youth and women with practical skills in freshwater pearl cultivation, enabling them to generate sustainable income with minimal investment.
Pearl farming is a low-cost, high-value, and environmentally sustainable practice that utilizes existing water resources like ponds and tanks without harming the ecosystem. Through hands-on training, participants learn the complete process—from oyster implantation to pearl harvesting and marketing.
